第一次听《once》是在豆瓣电台，后来就关注这部爱尔兰电影，它是以音乐主题，讲诉卖花女和流浪歌手的一段唯美伤感又温暖人心的故事，他们对音乐有着共同的理解，彼此间有难得默契。爱情也和音乐一样在他们心里生根发芽。男女主角拍完电影后结婚了。
专辑里的《If You Want Me》很让人念念不忘，音乐一响，第一句就是Are you really here or am i dreaming？这让人忍不住想听到结尾。后来搜索到歌词。

由现实中的两人去演绎这样的两个角色。Glen Hansard的演奏实在无可挑剔，在电影中我唯一看不懂的就是开头他追逐偷盗者的镜头，撇去这个开头不看，二人的相遇充满了浪漫，充满了梦想这样的词汇，在一次录音，奋斗，IF YOU WANT ME的开头歌词很有穿透力，如同一个她在轻轻诉说，你是否真的在此，还是只是我的梦境.
